I've always been a reader, ever since my parents shoved books into my hands. "Here, read! The car-ride will be over before you know it," they said. I hated car rides. With a passion. So I became a reader, allowing words to transport me into other worlds. Since then books have allowed me to escape my thoughts and worries.
I'm not a full-time writer. I have a job in research at Stockholm University. I even try to have a life, but since I started writing a lot of hours are spent in front of the keyboard. Stiff joints are becoming an issue at the modest age of 29, so I guess it's time to find an exercise routine.
When I write, I draw upon the things that I see and hear around me. I use the things that tumble around in my mind and pull it into another context.
I write Romance because I believe in love. We need more love in this world, and we need beauty around us to remember what life is all about.
I live in the beautiful Stockholm Archipelago on the east side of Sweden. The long country lies in one of the cold corners of the world, and I believe that's one of the reasons why my novels carry a dark strain in them that I try to fight with fire.
