I'm bursting with happiness. The Violinist won a Wattys in the LGBT+ awards. The Wattys is the world's largest online writing competition, which is really hard to wrap my head around. This year they had over 75,000 entries from across the world. I'm honored to receive an award and very grateful toward all those who have helped me throughout writing this story.
I'm nothing without my dedicated readers, which I hope they are fully aware of. What started out as a seed of an idea when I heard a stellar violinist playing at one of the metro stations in Stockholm, turned into a full novel with characters that I'll carry with me for the rest of my life. They are very dear to me, and I believe that is the reason why they are also dear to others.
I pour my heart into writing, and when I'm at the top of my game, I seem to be able to strike out with those emotions toward readers. But, being as sensitive as Dante, and as insecure as Chris, it takes a lot of encouragement to keep me going. I owe that to my lovely readers who never cease to amaze me with their wonderful comments.
